OUR GUIDELINES
We are a casual, fun place to work and we highly value our guests and team members! We even offer employee discounts to all our team members. Even though we always have fun and dress in only the coolest Joe's clothes, we have some guidelines in place to ensure both our guests and our team members experience the best Joe's has to offer. Some of our standards are:- Our guests ALWAYS come first and we do whatever is necessary to assure they have a fantastic experience and leave our business wanting to return.
- We support many special events, especially in the Stillwater locations. Team members are therefore, expected to work the majority of Saturdays and special events such as OSU game days as well as some Sundays.
- All new team members are required to utilize direct deposit to receive their paycheck.
- In order to best serve our guests, we are closed only on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Our team members are expected to be available to work Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve and/or New Year's Day, as well as the days immediately following Thanksgiving and Christmas.
- Joe's has several standards we follow regarding DRESS CODE:
- All Non-guest contact positions:
- Hands and fingernails should be kept clean at all times
- Hair must be neat and clean.
- Facial Hair (beards and mustaches) must be kept neatly trimmed.
- No heavy cologne or perfume may be worn.
- Kitchen personnel must wear a hat.
- Approved shoes and socks must be worn. Open-toed sandals, of any style, are not allowed to be worn to work in the restaurants, print shop or warehouse.
- All guest contact positions must abide by those rules listed above, as well as:
- Wear a Joe's shirt or SCC Managed Company shirt while working their shift. (varies by location)
- Tasteful earrings and discreet nose studs only. No other body piercing jewelry allowed.
- Highly visible tattoos and ear gauging is prohibited.
- Males cannot wear nail polish.
- Hair must be of a conservative color and style and must be pulled to the back of the neck if serving food or beverage.
- A nametag must be worn during all shifts and wait staff must use a server apron at all times while on the clock.
