Community Committment

Eskimo Joe's is committed to giving back to the community we call home. A portion of the proceeds from several of our designs are given to support some of Joe's favorite charities.

Celebrate Teaching

Eskimo Joe’s designed a shirt to celebrate teaching and the results were awesome! A portion of shirt sales were designated to the OSU College of Education and the shirt sold well enough to establish the Eskimo Joe’s Endowed Scholarship which is now awarded each year. Proceeds from our teacher designs are also given to the Stillwater Public Education Foundation to provide grants for Stillwater teachers.

Eskimo Joe's Celebrates Teachers Scholarship Recipient

The 2011 Eskimo Joe's Scholarship recipient is Kristi Johnson, a student majoring in education at Oklahoma State University.

Lisa Sadler is one of our previous scholarship recipients. She was considered to be a non-traditional student since she was a wife and mother, a youth director and a full-time student, plus a full-time job at Ripley Schools for most of her college years. She now teaches reading and English to sixth, seventh and eighth graders at Oilton Public Schools. She says her inspiration for becoming a teacher is her mother who retired after 37 years of teaching. The Eskimo Joe's scholarship helped Lisa with expenses during her senior year when her course load increased and she was unable to work. She says, "Thanks Eskimo Joe's for supporting teachers who are helping to prepare our future generations!"
